Using Vedi

To unlock all the features of Vedi, patients must be checked in on arrival. During check-in, vet staff are presented with opportunities to update missing or incorrect patient information.

Record vaccinations, track immunity statuses and send Digital Vaccination Certificates in seconds. All vaccine information – including batch numbers – will be locked to the animal’s microchip.

If the patient doesn’t have a microchip, you can create a temporary pre-microchip ID to access Vedi features. After you create your pre-microchip ID following the steps below, make sure to add it to the animal’s profile in your PIMS.

With Vedi sample containers, you don’t need to write patient information on the label. To find out who a sample belongs to, simply follow the steps below.

Whenever a new vaccine is recorded, Vedi automatically emails the animal owner a link to their digital Vaccination Certificate. This record will always be available via the Vedi Portal and will automatically update over time. If an owner needs you to resend a vaccination certificate, follow these steps.
